Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Do we need a reservation for a tour and tasting?
    Reservations are required for groups of 6 or more and any guest arriving by bus or limo. Appointments for groups, buses, and limos are available between the hours of 10am and 2pm. Groups larger than 15 guests are considered Large Groups with reservations available between the hours of 11am and 1pm. As Sparkling Pointe is one of the most easterly wineries we encourage that you make us your first stop. All groups must complete a reservation form and participate in one of our tasting packages. A credit card must be provided and will be charged upon completion of the tasting appointment. Large Groups require a 50% non-refundable deposit.   2. Are children allowed at the winery?
    Anyone under 21 years of age visiting the winery must be accompanied by an adult. When planning your visit, please consider that we are an adult environment with no play area for children. The VIP Bubble Room is 21 and over unless privately rented.
  3. Are pets allowed at the winery?
    As of January 1, 2015 only ADA Service Animals are permitted on Sparkling Pointe premises; we no longer allow pets inside or outside the Tasting House.
  4. Is smoking allowed on premise?
    Sparkling Pointe does not allow smoking anywhere on premise where wine tastings are conducted including the outdoor terrace, and lounge seating areas. Designated smoking zones are available.
  5. Do you have a restaurant?
    Our Farm Winery Permit does not allow a restaurant on premise. We partner with many local producers and offer a daily menu of cheese, charcuterie, caviar, and other items selected to pair with our wines. Additional pairing packages may be selected in advance to enhance your tasting experience. Our tasting house wine educators will also make recommendations for dining options in the North Fork Wine Region.
    Please note: Guests may not bring their own food, beverage, or picnics for consumption anywhere on the grounds. We thank you for your cooperation. Click here to view our current food pairing menu.
  6. Does Sparkling Pointe host wedding ceremonies, receptions, and corporate events?
    Sparkling Pointe is an elegant setting for your ceremony and reception. We can accommodate parties as intimate as 50 or as grand as 250. To schedule an appointment with our Private Events Coordinator please contact events@sparklingpointe.com.
  7. I am looking for a romantic venue for a marriage proposal. Do you offer any special packages?
    Yes! We can customize a surprise proposal to meet your needs. From a romantic seat by the fireplace to a VIP lounge setting with vineyard views Sparkling Pointe offers a wonderfully memorable experience for a marriage proposal, anniversary, or any romantic occasion.
